Scott Ruth enjoys the fast pace of real estate and thrives on troubleshooting the industry’s many moving parts. From reducing liability and solving complex problems to navigating intricate processes and transactions, Scott works side by side with agents and clients to achieve the best possible outcomes. Licensed in 2002 and a managing broker since 2005, he has witnessed Greater Richmond’s remarkable transformation—seeing both the revitalization of historic communities and the steady growth of rural areas.

Recognized as a top-producing selling broker with CVRMLS since 2007, Scott served as President of the Richmond Association of Realtors in 2012 and was honored as Realtor of the Year in 2015. As co-owner of SRMF, he is committed to delivering the fundamentals of real estate at the highest level while embracing the latest tools and technologies. Scott’s passion lies in training agents to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and in helping clients exceed expectations by staying ahead of the curve in marketing, networking, and technology.

Scott grew up in Richmond and graduated from The Collegiate School before earning a B.S. in Business Administration from the College of Charleston. His passions and personal interests center around family and friends, his church, the outdoors, and an active lifestyle—whether fishing, hunting, boating, skiing, attending Georgia and Alabama football games, or spending time at Virginia Beach and the river. Scott also remains deeply connected to his community, serving on several committees in the Richmond area, including real estate, The Country Club of Virginia, local school, and camp alumni organizations. He and his wife of more than 25 years, Jennifer, live in Richmond and have four children.
